Tell us a bit about yourself
I started my professional career in 1983 in the accountancy software industry, just as computers started to appear in professional firms. As technology developed throughout the 80’s and 90’s, the need for more proactive marketing to address greater client demands and the arrival of the internet led me to found JE Consulting in 1998 to offer a full-service, outsourced marketing offering in the professional services sector.
A lot has happened since I started the business. There were only two of us at the beginning and now we have 30 experts working together to help our clients. We are now operating under the name Imagine That following a successful rebrand signalling a broadening of support for a wider range of businesses. We are part of the K3 Advisory Group, able to benefit from additional resources and connections.
I have over 40 years of practical marketing experience working with a wide range of firms across the UK, both large and small and a particular specialism in preparing and delivering digital and social media strategies to clients. Rather than let businesses struggle to face challenges, I have spearheaded a hands-on approach to marketing. This lets firms feel the benefit of the work we do through our comprehensive marketing strategies.
Integrity and accountability underpin everything I do. Across the entire life of the business, those values have remained at the core and will continue to set the standard for our work.
What do you enjoy outside of work?
Walking my Cavapoo, the gym and enjoying good food and wine.
