What do you do?
As the Admin and Events Manager at Imagine That, I oversee the planning and delivery of a full range of events that elevate our clients’ profiles and increase their brand awareness.
I work closely with the other teams as well as external suppliers and venues to make sure that every aspect of an event is taken care of and geared towards being as beneficial as possible. While many of our clients host events online, I also make sure that in-person events are valuable networking opportunities that are remembered fondly by those who attend.
The pinnacle of this was when I organised a conference for 100 guests in Brussels, dealing with the language barrier with suppliers and attendees. Attending and leading the event across two days has been the highlight of my career.
Tell us a bit about yourself
I completed a HND in Animal Welfare & Management in 2003 and then started my professional career working for Lloyds TSB until moving to Imagine That, back when it was still JE Consulting, in 2007. I have remained here ever since!
The values that matter most to me are maintaining a strong work ethic and treating others with kindness and respect. I believe in working hard, being reliable and always giving my best effort. I also try to treat people the way I would like to be treated with kindness and respect.
What do you enjoy outside of work?
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time and being outdoors with my two young boys. I also like to support them at football matches every weekend.
