What do you do?
As Operations Director, I manage a broad range of responsibilities, focused on ensuring that we deliver work to clients on time, accurately and to a high quality. As the main point of contact for many clients who trust me to ensure their deadlines are adhered to, I also take responsibility for the day-to-day team operations in-house, ensuring that our people keep delivering the incredible work we are known for.
Having the combined awareness of what our clients need and who is best positioned to deliver it allows me to direct and dovetail in-house conversations, driving our team to achieve and demonstrate their talent and thrive professionally.
Tell us a bit about yourself
I started my professional career in travel before moving into insurance. Looking for a new challenge, I moved into marketing and joined Imagine That, back when it was still JE Consulting, in 2002 in an administrative role. Marketing was where I wanted to be and Imagine That provided the ideal environment to develop my skills. My aptitude for management was recognised and then driven by the founders of the business who encouraged and supported me to undertake my CIMA qualification. Imagine That funded the qualification, allowing me to attend night school alongside my work during the day. Career progression at Imagine That has been a core driver of my long time here and achieving a director position as a result of hard work, founder support and commitment is one of my greatest achievements in life.
Being a core part of this growth has been a true highlight of my career and I am excited to see what the future holds for us.
