What do you do?
In my role as Front-End Developer, I work to implement responsive web design for all of our clients. Accessibility is a major focus of mine as our websites need to be usable by everyone if our clients are going to get the most benefit from them. I also specialise in translating the design work done by our experts in Figma into web pages that manage to be as functional as they are visually appealing.
Tell us a bit about yourself
I started my professional software development career in 2022 as a Front-End Developer, primarily working with PHP, React, Next.js and TypeScript to build modern web applications. Since joining Imagine That, previously known as JE Consulting, my role has evolved to focus on WordPress and PHP development, where I’ve been building and maintaining custom themes, plugins and content-driven websites while continuing to apply frontend best practices.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my role has been building new websites that clients can use to grow their businesses. I focus on producing clean, responsive and maintainable code while paying close attention to design details. My designer has regularly praised my attention to detail and my ability to accurately translate designs into fully functional websites, which has been one of the highlights of my work.
The values that matter most to me are continuous learning, ownership, and collaboration. I enjoy improving my skills, taking responsibility for delivering quality work and working closely with teammates to build solutions that have a positive impact on users.
What do you enjoy outside of work?
